I was originally going to do a more realistic treatment for the fur, but I thought it would look strange with the cartoony style of the figurine, so I decided to go for a blockier style for the paint job. What do you think?
The three are cast in polyurethane resin from the same mold, and the two leftmost have been sanded a bit to reduce neck fluff. They were painted with acrylic and finished off with a clear matte protective acrylic spray.

To start off with, the figurines are adorable! I like the contrast of the bold colors in each dog’s coat, and I think the mold is really cute. The way you made some changes to the shape for the husky and the differences in not only color but also the markings for the two malamutes seems to give each their own individual character.
Considering that the mold was originally designed as a wolf, the fluffy fur on the neck and belly look accurate, as does the shape of the tail. The legs are a little short, though, and I think the ears should be slightly larger, with a little bit of fluffy fur inside of them if you can fit some in (though given how small the ears are, I’m not sure how difficult that would be to add that kind of detail).
Like I said earlier, the markings give the figurines a lot of personal charm. It’s clear how much effort you devoted to replicating the look of each dog accurately. While the crisp and clear style of the markings does match the cartoony aspect of the mold nicely, though, they don’t correctly portray the more subtle/hazy quality of the dogs’ coats. However, I think it comes down to a matter of preference whether consistency in the overall design or precise depiction of the dogs’ appearances is more important.
Overall, I think you did a great job with the figurines. Keep up the excellent work!
These tree guys are so absolutely adorable and I start saying that it wouldn't be easy critique crafts, since we know that is really difficult to produce these ones and also that we are not able to do them XD
We love how you painted the fur, especially the one of Poli!
But, well, something we have to say and surely any work could be improved, so you adorable northern dogs aren't an exception!
For example, you said that two of them are malamutes, while the third is an husky. Well... it doesn't look a lot like that, mainly because they have all the same size! Shouldn't malamutes be bigger than huskies? Also, while their tails are perfect for malamutes, I think that the husky's tail should be more like this: avventurea4zampe.altervista.or… (even if we know that huskies can bring their tail in different ways! But we said it for the sake of distinction...).
For the rest... it's all perfect. We would like to see also the distinction between the toes, on the paws, but the toes absence maybe it's because of the cartoon style!
We hope that our critique helped you at least a little bit! Bye!
